Directed by Stanley Tong, the third installment of the Police Story franchise shifts the setting from the bustling streets of Hong Kong to the mainland of China and eventually the jungles of Southeast Asia. Jackie Chan reprises his role as the relentless Detective Chan Ka-Kui, who is recruited by Interpol to go undercover as "Lin Fu Sheng." His mission is to infiltrate a major drug syndicate led by the ruthless Chaibat. To assist him, he is paired with the disciplined Director of Interpol, Inspector Yang Jianhua, played with incredible grace and grit by Michelle Yeoh.
Directed by Stanley Tong (in his first collaboration with Chan), Police Story 3: Super Cop took everything audiences loved (insane stunts, slapstick humor, jaw-dropping fight choreography) and added two new ingredients: and a female co-lead who could actually keep up with Jackie.
Yet, the site persists because demand outstrips legal supply. In many regions, there is no way to watch Police Story 3 without buying an out-of-print DVD or resorting to piracy.
Police Story 3 is absolutely the best of the series. Watch it on the biggest screen you can find. But leave FilmyZilla as a last resort—not your first.
