This partitioning is the killer. Because the internal map of where the system files live is different on the R11st than on the global R11s, you cannot simply drag and drop a global firmware file. It was a nightmare

Because the China ROM lacks Google Services Framework, SafetyNet usually fails. The passes basic integrity (though not always CTS profile out of the box), allowing many users to utilize contactless payments and car head-unit integration.
