I’m running Windows Server 2016 in a lab/non-production environment. The Remote Desktop Services grace period has expired. I’m looking for a free, legitimate workaround — not a crack — such as resetting the grace period or extending trials. I’ve seen references to modifying termsrv.dll for older Windows versions. Does anyone know of a safe, script-based method for Server 2016 that doesn’t require purchasing CALs for testing?
