Kylo is an open source enterprise-ready data lake management software platform for self-service data ingest and data preparation with integrated metadata management, governance, security and best practices inspired by Think Big's 150+ big data implementation projects.

While the rest of the design world rushed toward the neon, glitch-aesthetic of the mid-21st century—fonts that dripped like molten plastic and screamed in augmented reality—Elias remained a devotee of the classical. He believed in the sanctity of the serif. He believed that a letter should sit on the page with the dignity of a marble column, not dance around it like a holographic ghost.

Designed by Robert Slimbach in 1990 for Adobe, is a classic old-style serif typeface inspired by Renaissance-era letterforms. Its name comes from the traditional typographic sizing system (minion being between nonpareil and brevier). Minion is beloved for its high legibility, warm texture, and versatility in both body text and headlines. However, Minion is a commercial font (part of Adobe Fonts) and is not legally available for free download as a standalone desktop file outside of Creative Cloud subscriptions.
