: For lower-end PCs, reducing resolution to 720p or 900p and setting all graphics to "Low" can significantly improve frame rates.

If you own Assassin's Creed Unity on Steam or Ubisoft Connect, the launcher will automatically update you to the final version (v1.5.0 as well, but with additional telemetry). You do not need this scene update.

Before RELOADED released their v1.5 Proper, another group (or a previous release) may have attempted to crack the update. However, the complexity of the protection meant that early cracks often caused crashes, failed to save games, or had performance degradation. A "Proper" release is a challenge by a rival group saying, "We did it correctly where you failed."
