Kalyug follows the story of two young lovers, Renuka (Smilie Suri) and Kunal (Kunal Khemu), who move to the city. Renuka is tricked into the world of adult films, leading Kunal on a dark quest for revenge. The film was loosely based on the real-life "Anuradha murder case" of the early 2000s. It didn't just entertain; it warned audiences about the dark side of the internet and human trafficking.
