The rapid growth of data has necessitated the development of efficient database systems that can handle complex queries. This paper proposes a novel approach to optimizing minimum top-k queries by integrating the Next-Generation File System (NSFS+012) with SAP HANA and the Himesaki algorithm. Our approach aims to leverage the strengths of each technology to improve query performance in large-scale data sets. We present a theoretical model, discuss implementation challenges, and outline future research directions.
