: If you are upgrading from EDIUS 7, your custom settings are often automatically transferred to version 8 upon successful activation. Important Considerations for EDIUS Keys
EDIUS 8 allows one activation per serial number (two for workstations if you purchased a dongle). Fix: Deactivate the old PC. On the old machine, go to Help > Deactivate . If the old PC is dead, contact Grass Valley support with proof of purchase to reset the key.
