The default location for all BIOS files is /storage/roms/bios/ . Due to copyright laws, EmuELEC does not distribute

Use scph5501.bin (USA) for most games. Do NOT use scph1001.bin (original Japan BIOS) – it has less accurate CDDA audio timing. A key part of running many console systems

Copy the individual .bin or .rom files directly into the root of the /bios/ folder.

Due to copyright laws, BIOS files are proprietary software belonging to companies like Sony, Sega, and Nintendo. Therefore, EmuELEC does not come pre-installed with them.
