The first five Blacklist opponents (Sonny, Taz, Vic, Big Lou, and Izzy) are essentially tutorials. Their cars are slow, and the pursuit tech is basic. Many veteran players find racing against #15 through #11 tedious. A Blacklist #10 save file allows you to skip straight to the "golden era" of the campaign.
