Looking back, Minion Rush v1.4.0 was a turning point. It proved that a movie tie-in game could have genuine legs in the mobile market. It balanced the chaotic humor of the Minions with solid, addictive gameplay mechanics borrowed from the best in the genre (like Temple Run and Subway Surfers ), but added the unique flavor of the Despicable Me universe.
